Thanksgiving Dining Out Guide 2021
It’s been nearly two years since many people got to celebrate the holidays in person with their loved ones. For those who prefer to dine out over a home-cooked meal, we’ve compiled this list of local restaurants offering Thanksgiving fare for the 2021 holiday.
OAK STEAKHOUSE
4777 Sharon Rd Suite 125, Charlotte, NC 28210
Oak Steakhouse will serve a three-course holiday menu for in-person dining from 1-8 pm, as well as a limited a la carte menu. Adults are $65 per person, and children can get an entrée and dessert for $25.
First Course choices are Baby Romaine Caesar or Acorn Squash Bisque served with milk bread. The Second Course includes Joyce Farms all-natural turkey breast and confit leg, house-made pork sausage stuffing, collard greens, sweet potato mash, fresh cranberry sauce, and pan jus gravy. Dessert is a choice of cranberry cheesecake with chantilly cream or apple spice crème brulée with apple crisp and caramel.

RED ROCKS CAFE AT REDSTONE

Red Rocks Cafe will be serving Thanksgiving fare from 11 am to 9 pm as well as an a la carte menu.
Turkey dinner starts at $29 and includes roasted turkey breast with giblet gravy and cornbread stuffing, served with smashed potatoes, and southern-style green beans.

LA BELLE HELENE
300 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202
An in-person prix fixe menu at La Belle Helene will be available on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Cost is $55 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Optional wine pairings are available.
The Thanksgiving dinner options include Mushroom Soup, a Mixed Greens Salad with spiced pumpkin, a Turkey Dinner with pommes puree and turkey ajus, a Porchetta with a mushroom ajus, and a Pumpkin Gnocchi. The dessert menu will feature Gateau D’Opéra a la Citrouille, a pumpkin pound cake with ganache and salted caramel, a La Noix De Pecan, a pecan cake with honey pecan gelato, and a chef’s selection of ice cream and sorbet.

THE PUMP HOUSE

The Pump House is offering a 3-course prix fixe menu for $48 per person.
First Course options are crispy calamari, fried green tomatoes, shrimp cocktail, venison meatballs, Carolina greens, iceberg wedge, or pumpkin bisque. Second Course options are herb-roasted turkey breast, shrimp & Anson mills grits, seared Faroe Island salmon, blackened seared ahi tuna, pork chop, filet mignon, or grilled portobello. Dessert options are chocolate truffle torte or sweet potato pecan cheesecake.

ANGELINE’S

On Thanksgiving, Angeline’s is offering breakfast and dinner with seating times from 8-10 am for breakfast and from 12-7 pm for dinner. Dinner is $45 per person, served family-style.
First Course is a choice of Roasted Squash and Frisee Salad or Butternut Squash and Lobster Bisque. Second Course is Smoked Turkey Breast with sides of Whipped Potatoes, Crispy Brussels with Orange and Cranberry, Rye Panzanella Stuffing, and Honey Coriander Roasted Carrots. Dessert choices are Apple Cobbler or Pumpkin Pie.

An in-person prix fixe menu at 5Church will be available on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Cost is $60 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under. Optional wine pairings are available.
The menu features Cauliflower Soup with buttery croutons, Kale and Butternut Squash with smoked goat cheese, Pomegranate and Pear with sweet potato pommes paille and a ginger vinaigrette, a Roasted and Confit Turkey with chestnut apple stuffing and cranberry marmalade, a Citrus Glazed Ham with garlic wilted spinach, a Filet with truffled potatoes, a Sweet Potato Gnocchi with local mushrooms and charred pearl onions and a side item of classic Mashed Potatoes with Gravy. The dessert options will include Pumpkin Bread Pudding, Carrot Cake, and a Hot Chocolate Doughnut.

THE BALLANTYNE HOTEL

Choose to dine in The Ballantyne Ballroom or Gallery Restaurant for Thanksgiving brunch. The Ballroom Brunch is $95 for adults, $45 for children ages 5-12, and complimentary for children ages 4 and under. The Gallery Restaurant is $95 per person and children 12 and under may dine a la carte off the children’s menu.
